Running a business, or even just thinking about starting one, can feel isolating. Community Resource Connections exists to change that.

This monthly gathering brings together entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners at every stage; from those with a spark of an idea to those with years of experience. It’s a space to connect, share honestly, and support one another in the real work of building something.

Each session is informal, welcoming, and rooted in peer-to-peer exchange. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, wins, frustrations, and resources. Whether you’re looking for feedback, trying to solve a challenge, or simply wanting to be in a room with people who understand, you’ll find value here.

You don’t need a business plan. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to show up.

What to Expect

Sessions run roughly 75 minutes. There’s no agenda to prepare for, no pitch to rehearse, and no pressure to have answers. You’ll introduce yourself, share where you are, and join a conversation that’s already in progress. Most people leave with at least one new idea, one useful contact, or one thing they're going to do differently.

Is this really free? Yes. No registration fee, no membership required.

What if I don’t have a business yet? That’s exactly the right time to come. Many regulars started showing up before they had anything official, and the community helped them figure out the next step.

Is this only for people in a specific industry? Not at all. The group includes people from hospitality, retail, professional and creative services, trades, wellness, marketing, and more.

What does “sober space” mean? The gathering is alcohol-free. Everyone is welcome.
