Who We Serve
Main Street Eureka Springs began, like many Main Street organizations across the country, with a focus on downtown business owners and property owners.
When our program started in 2009, that focus made sense. Downtown Eureka Springs looked very different then. Many businesses closed for the winter, festivals were struggling, and there was no Christmas Festival.
Main Street stepped in to help strengthen the district. Alongside many partners, we helped build energy, activity, and momentum downtown.
That work was successful.
And because of that success, our role has evolved.
A Downtown That Connects Us All
Today, Downtown Eureka Springs is vibrant, active, and supported by many strong players. The CAPC markets the destination. Heart of Eureka brings together business owners. Festival organizers create experiences. Property owners continue to invest in and care for historic buildings. City departments and civic partners help maintain and steward the district.
Downtown is not separate from the community. It is woven into it.
The vibrancy of Downtown is one of the primary reasons people choose to live here, invest here, and build their lives here. It shapes daily life, sense of belonging, and the experience of place for residents and visitors alike.

Because of this, our work has expanded.
We still serve downtown business owners and property owners. They remain essential to the health and future of the district.
But we also serve the people who make downtown work every day, the people who live here, the people who visit, and the people who may choose to invest here in the future.
